Lakeshia, 32, is a Brunswick County native, born and raised in Shallotte NC. She spent 9 years in the Appalachian Mountains of East TN and in Business Administration at Northeast State before relocating back home to the beautiful Beaches of NC. Lakeshia currently serves as a Nuclear Protection Officer for Duke Energy in Southport NC and Owner of Free Spirit Food Co., a catering company she founded in 2014. Most recently, Lakeshia launched her nonprofit organization, P.E.A.R.L.s (Purposefully Empowering and Reaching Ladies) to draw attention to the need for charity work and mentoring of young girls in and around Brunswick County. Lakeshia is currently studying Nuclear Technology at Cape Fear Community College and hopes to become a Nuclear Engineer.
Michael L. Frink, is the establishmentarian and Senior Pastor of Embracing Christ Fellowship Church located in Shallotte, NC. Pastor Frink is also the President of Michael L. Frink Ministries based in Wilmington, North Carolina. He has served in ecclesia ministry over 9 years in various capacities within many NC and SC communities. With that resume, Pastor Frink is a bi-vocational minister; he is also employed with Brunswick County Schools, specifically at Shallotte Middle School as the In-School-Suspension Teacher. Most people consider Pastor Frink an effective communicator with today’s youth. In 2012, he cultivated a faith-based youth community called “The Hangout”. It focused on the edifying of the inner spiritual presence of youth and also giving them practical life teaching. As a result, many youth experienced transformation and obtained much needed spiritual growth. Currently, he is extremely excited about his new endeavor called the “The Oasis Group”. Its purpose is to function as an enriching oasis for the young adult generation, regarding their relationship with Christ.
Pastor Frink is the husband of Tatyana M. Frink and the beloved father of Mckenzley Grace and Makenna Jane. He holds true to his strong family values. He indeed loves God, family, and his community!
